error on QNAP TS-239

Post by dosser » Wed Jan 15, 2014 3:14 pm

When trying download a complete album iget follwing error:

Exec error
Command: nice -n 20 /usr/bin/7za a -tzip -mx0 -- '/share/MD0_DATA/Web/netju/cache/1/c/1cd3f4f276532ff3a608a0d9b50440a68782e814/' @'/share/MD0_DATA/Web/netju/cache/1/c/1cd3f4f276532ff3a608a0d9b50440a68782e814/eckiuf14qk.txt' 2>&1
System output: sh: nice: command not found
System return code: 127

nice-command is installed with coreutils:

[~] # nice --help
Usage: nice [OPTION] [COMMAND [ARG]...]
Run COMMAND with an adjusted niceness, which affects process scheduling.
With no COMMAND, print the current niceness. Nicenesses range from
-20 (most favorable scheduling) to 19 (least favorable).

-n, --adjustment=N add integer N to the niceness (default 10)
--help display this help and exit
--version output version information and exit

NOTE: your shell may have its own version of nice, which usually supersedes
the version described here. Please refer to your shell's documentation
for details about the options it supports.

Report nice bugs to
GNU coreutils home page: <>
General help using GNU software: <>
For complete documentation, run: info coreutils 'nice invocation'
[~] #

Any advice for me ??

nice should be in the default path:

Code: Select all

echo $PATH
If not it is possible to add the full path to the netjukebox config file.
First find the correct path with:

Code: Select all

find / -name "nice"
And use the found value in the config file like:

Code: Select all

$cfg['bin_dir']                     = '/usr/bin/nice -n 20 /usr/bin/';
It is also possible to run netjukebox without nice like:

Code: Select all

$cfg['bin_dir']                     = '/usr/bin/';
Good luck,
