Sweet dreams

Post by unsec »

Some little ideas
1. Internal mp3 player - I try to inplement one mp3 player (localised near the track title), with succes (http://www.premiumbeat.com/flash_resour ... player.php) but it read only tracks from the same HDD.
2. Maybe the same script can be re-coding to find and catalogue the txt, doc, html, pdf files (and opening this files in vievers).
3. Maybe the same script can be re-coding to find and catalogue the avi, mpeg ect. files (and opening this files in player-s).
4. More than one media path (more than one HDD, lan hdd, usb-hdd) for a one type of files - from the script side it must be looking like one so big directory.
5. if ideas from points 2 and 3 are real - the individual site can automatically detect anothers sities (liberary, mooviebox, audiobox) to create one Media Repository Centre :D :D :D

or maybe this script can be re-coding to create very universal repository - anyone can define what type of file will be catalogue (audio type OR video type OR txt type), from which directory(ies) and what type of player/viewer will be using to show this files. Then it will be finest solution than f.eg. Nexus.

That would be a good addition to a future release, I will add it on the to do list.

netjukebox can already index video files as long as they are supported by getID3().
It is a pity that not all video files are played correctly by winamp even with a K-Lite codec pack installed.
VideoLAN is a better option for video playback, and even streaming (of caurse with enough bandwidth).
