Thanks, a first update can take very long depending on the number of tracks. So I would advise to do the update again. When there is a corrupted track an error message should appear. But if not you most likely found a bug in netjukebox or a library.

With your current version there is nu support for incremental upgrade, see table below.
So you have to create a new database, your albums add date will be restored from the file-modification-time ...

Here is my netjukebox database backup script (ubuntu), the live.netjukebox.nl database backup will only cost ± 111 kB .
This script will ignore multiple tables these will be recreated after restore and update netjukebox.

If you have no admin rights you can only change the password if you remember the old password.

config > user > ...

Only the admin user can change all passwords without knowing the old password.

config > users > select user > ...

Alternatively Info-ZIP also works.
See the config.inc.php file comment.

(Most Linux distributions comes with Info-ZIP)

I have no solution for your problem.

Maybe another approach can help you:
Install only one instance of netjukebox and configure two or more MPD client (localhost, IP-adres from client)
A working SAMBA network share should be installed on the server.
I have tested it with MPD on the server and VLC ...
