MPD or netjukebox - how can I stop it?

Hello,

I am a real newbie in this things. So please be patient with me.

I installed netjukebox 6 on my linux server. And I installed the mpd also. It works. I can access the music files in the intranet. So far everything is fine.

There is only one question. And I don't know if I am too stupid - or if it is a real problem. I can start the music - but I can't stop it. It plays on and on until the complete album has finished.
I didn't find a way to switch off or to have at least a break. Each player has a control with at least start, stop, pause. How can I control the jukebox?

I really don't know if it is a question of netjukebox or of mpd. Maybe the Winamp plugin and the VLC remote control have a switch.
