This is almost off-topic but it's related because all netjukebox -users use Winamp and httpQ-plugin.
I've made a Java MIDP2.0 software to control Winamp with phones/mobile devices.
It also uses httpQ plugin for Winamp so this could be alternative front-end to your music.
There's also perl socket-server which provides fast search and realtime filesystem browsing.
With this you can also easily stream music straight to your mobile phone and control it from the same device

The current version of netjukebox (5.x) will work on an iPhone
(Web interface for Winamp/httpQ playback, streaming didn’t work).
The resolution of netjukebox is not practical on such a device
