add user

I have been using netjukebox fo around 20 years
with no major isues simple to setup and use
but as of late my household has changed and
id like to have a way to make acounts with no password
and yes i know i can do the auto logon but then i lose the ability to logon on
to the admin account i was hopeing someone could stear mein the right direction

Why can you not use the anonymous account for that?

2 boys the oldest likes the music i like i can give him play mode
the younger boy likes stuff i dont so he could stream to his room
the gf likes country but id allow her play mode

You could give anonymous rghts to play & stream but if that is not an option then they need to use a simple password

Hello 1islandguy thanks for using netjukebox for such a long time!

I will find a way to switch user from the "anonymous auto login" ($cfg['anonymous_autologin'] = true;) user.
If possible I will implement it in the next release.
This will help you to manage multiple users when "anonymous auto login" is enabled.
However I have no plans to make it possible to create users with no passwords.
