netjukebox has reported to work on Linux and OSX.
There should be no problem running netjukebox on FreeBSD.

On your site I see that you already have running PHP.
(you must have compiled PHP with: gd2, pdf and iconv support).

Than extraxt nejukebox_x.xx.zip to your webserver.
And change the MySQL settings in "include/config.inc.php" corresponding with your MySQL server.
And also change the path to your media files.

When you first start netjukebox it will automatically create the database.

The current codec pack is for Windows only.
So you must look for FreeBSD console versions of LAME, FLAC, APE, etc...
And change the path also in "include/config.inc.php"

Let me know if everything works, as it should be.
Good luck with it,

Willem

Curious to know if you got this setup running. I spent a month digging through various things trying to get this to in a linux environment. I did end up getting it working. Now that it is up, I never have to mess with it. matter of fact, I have ripped 20+ gig using the linux host, still serving and haven't rebooted since my upgrade to 3.75.

I have Fedora Code 3 running apache 2, MySql 3.23.58 and php 4.3.11. Biggest problem was getting PHP compiled right.

What ver of BSD ar you running ? Now that I see another Linux hood chaser in the group, I would be more inclinded to follow during the wbartels sabatical.

Let me know how it turns out.
