I found this through Hotscripts, and it looks great. However, I'm not good with music- and stream-related jargon, so I had difficulties understanding the exact use of the scripts.
What I want to know is can NetJukeBox be used on a shared Linux hosting account with cPanel and MySQL databases, with a SHOUTcast server without root access in either? As in I can't install/alter any files on either server.
I want to be able to play music on the SHOUTcast server by having the web server upload to it, instead of me having to do it with my much smaller upload speed. The files could be pre-loaded in to the FTP for it to play. Is this possible with this script?
Thanks.

Netjukebox can basically do two things.
- Streaming on demand
- Playing to a Winamp client (Therefore a hppQ plugin is required to communicating between the webserver and Winamp)
It is possible to get a shoutcast plugin for Winamp.
But there is not a good working Winamp version for Linux.
So, on Linux it is only possible to stream on demand.
The other features will also work on Linux like: PDF cover & downloading.
In a LAN you can also get this to work:
Linux server with a Samba network share, Windows client with Winamp and httpQ plugin.
