Skin: iJukebox

Post by talanis »

Hello there!

I like netjukebox so much, I hardly touch my winamp pc anymore when listening to music. Since I always access it from my Apple MacBook, I had the idea to make some kind of OS X skin (at least strongly influenced by Tiger and iTunes). And here is a first try. Beta, of course :D

I must say, that the current version of netjukebox is not that easy to skin. HTML-coded object dimensions (which are strongly discouraged by the W3C btw) and too few classes/ids for the objects make it very hard to accomplish more than just replacing the images. This would be a nice addition to the todo list :)

Anyway, here's the skin:

Hello talanis,

Thanks for sharing your work.

I have worked very hard on netjukebox 5 the last months.
For now I will take a break coding.
After the brake I'm very interested in your suggestions to improve the skin support.
Maybe we can work together to implement these improvements?

But for now I take a break.

I would also be interested in helping out with the coding for skin support... I am pretty good at HTML and CSS just not that good at php :( . But I am willing to help out in anyway possible.

Thanks again.

I have already implemented all suggestions from "talanis" in the current version of netjukebox.

With the current stylesheet it is possible to change all image sizes and fonts.
I'm no expert on CSS so if you have any improvement please let me know

Hi,

wasn't someone talking about a Harley-Davidson skin?? What ever happened to that?

I too would like to help with additional skin support for the netjukebox program.

I will be updating, creating more skins to help out.

Willem, If you want to include any of the skins I have in newer versions of netjukebox; feel free. :)
