I think this would be helpfully if you have a autoplay feature.
ie, when a user adds a song to the playlist when there are no other songs in the playlist this will automatically play the song.

I tried looking for a winamp plugin that would do this however was unable to find one.

Why not use the play button for that?

I want to set this up at my work and I don't wont the everyone to be able play the songs I just want people to be able to add songs to the queue.

If I give people access to play song this going cut other people songs of in the middle of the songs.

Ok, I will implement the autoplay feature in the upcoming release.
This feature can than be enabled or disabled in the config file
and will only be available for the MPD and Winamp/httpQ media player.
