Login Problem

I am the new guy here, need a little help, I can't login, I can't even login at the Demo at netJukebox, I am using 4.xxx I don't have PHP 5 yet. any feedback would be good.

Witch web browser do you use?
Do you have Javascript and cookie support enabled?

I have fixed the login bug for netjukebox 4.08b and 5.04b.

Login did only fail when trying to login with an unused username.
After that, login is only possible when removing the cookie.

I have download and install the new netjukebox 4.08b and I am still getting the same problem. I am using( IE 7)( MSXML 4.0) Windows XP & Linux Server PHP 4.4 SQL 4.1 Cookies & JavaScript set. I still can't login in your Demo site.

The bug did only happened when trying to login with a none-existing username.
After that you could only loging when you removed the cookie.
Anonymous login (and admin account) has always been worked on the demo site.

In the database I can seen that 148 users with IE 7 have successfully logged in.
I also have installed IE 7 and had no problems to login.

So there must be another problem.
Can you login with Firefox?
Do you have a load balance internet connection (with different IP numbers)?
Do you have Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration enabled?

I install Firefox and it works great, I wonder what is wrong with my IE 7?

If you can login with Firefox than the problem is not related to load balance.
To be certain there is nothing wrong with the sessions in the database I have deleted all sessions from the database.
(this has the same effect as deleting the live.netjukebox.nl cookie from the browser)
Will you try out to login again?

I still can't login with IE, I can only login with Firefox...I am using a firewall with IE browser do you think that could be the problem? I am using Norton...

Check if the firewall is blocking something.
Go to http://live.netjukebox.nl (I assume you get a login screen)
Then click on netjukebox 5.04b below.
When you get a new screen with “About netjukebox” than the firewall is not blocking anything.

I’m interested if google suggest is working with your IE7 setup.
It also makes use of Javascript and the XMLHttpRequest object.

Then click on netjukebox 5.04b below.
When you get a new screen with “About netjukebox” than the firewall is not blocking anything.

If Google suggest works than Javascript and XMLHttpRequest is not the problem.

Maybe that the Yahoo toolbar blocks the auto submit (document.loginform.submit();)
Can you try it out again with disabled popup blocker from the Yahoo toolbar?

Still don't work. Maybe this a bad IE, maybe I could re-install my IE, what you thank?
